In June, the Mundaring Water Treatment Plant, operated by the Acciona TRILITY Joint Venture (ATJV) on behalf of Water Corporation, won the 2025 Best Tasting Tap Water in Western Australia.
The award, presented by the Water Industry Operations Association of Australia (WIOA) and supported by IXOM, recognises excellence in water quality across the state. Each year, regional and metropolitan operators compete for the title, with samples judged on clarity, colour, odour, and taste by an expert panel.
This is the first time the Mundaring plant has won this award, making it an achievement that reflects the expertise and dedication of the ATJV team delivering safe, high-quality drinking water to more than 100,000 homes, farms, and businesses as part of the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply Scheme.
“I am immensely proud of our Mundaring Operations team. This result is a testament to their continued efforts in delivering safe and efficient water services,” said Adam Medlock, General Operations Manager at TRILITY.
As the state winner, Mundaring will now represent Western Australia at the national competition in Queensland this November.
