TRILITY, as part of the AdelaideAqua joint venture and proud operator of the Adelaide Desalination Plant, is pleased to support the South Australian Government’s efforts to ensure water security for communities across the state, with the plant set to run at full capacity in response to ongoing dry conditions.
The increased production at the Adelaide Desalination Plant comes in response to sustained dry conditions and low reservoir levels, with the plant set to run at full capacity until mid-2025. Producing up to 300 million litres of water per day throughout February, the plant will play a vital role in ensuring a secure water supply for metropolitan Adelaide without the need for water restrictions. This proactive measure highlights the importance of the desalination plant in safeguarding Adelaide’s water security, complementing water from the River Murray and local reservoirs.
