In June, TRILITY Managing Director, Francois Gouws, had the honour of participating in the Australian Water Association (AWA) panel session at the prestigious Singapore International Water Week (SIWW).
The theme of the discussion was ‘Beyond Crisis: Building Resilience in a Changing Climate Landscape’, which brought together leaders from across the Australian water sector.
The session brought together leaders from across the Australian water sector to provide insights into recent responses to extreme weather events, and how the sector is building resilience and future proofing in a landscape of climate uncertainty. The panel drew on diverse perspectives and experience from Australian water utilities, service delivery partners, and the Australian Water Association – Australia’s largest water network.
The session was facilitated by Peter Dennis (President of AWA) and Corinne Cheeseman (CEO of AWA) and Francous was joined by panellists; Dr Nerina Di Lorenzo, (Director, Melbourne Water), Dan Spackman (Director, Water Infrastructure (Global), SMEC), and Dr Nicola Nelson (Head of International and Industry Programs at the Australian Water Association).
