Recently, TRILITY was pleased to contribute to the Queensland Water Directorate’s eighth annual Water Skills Forum, held in Brisbane. The forum brought together close to 80 representatives from across the state’s water sector to explore practical solutions for strengthening workforce capability.
As part of the program, TRILITY’s Business Growth Manager, Adrian Blinman, joined Queensland Water Regional Alliance Program (QWRAP) Director, David Wiskar, to present the findings of a recent training needs analysis conducted by TRILITY Training Services (RTO 46056) across two QWRAP regions: the Wide Bay Burnett Urban Water Alliance (WBBUWA) and the North West Queensland Water and Sewerage Alliance (NWQWSA).
The presentation highlighted a number of critical insights, including widespread technical training gaps and a range of site-specific safety training needs – particularly in high-risk operational areas. In total, 80 units of competency were mapped as part of the assessment. This information will be incorporated into a new SWIM™ module, swimskills™, which will provide HR teams and operational managers with enhanced visibility of workforce capability and development requirements.
TRILITY’s participation in the forum reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting the delivery of safe and reliable water services across Queensland through workforce development and training. The company thanks the Queensland Water Directorate for the opportunity to share these insights and engage in constructive dialogue around future workforce needs.
