TRILITY Training Services (RTO #46056) recently continued working with Gympie Regional Council, delivering practical, industry-focused training as part of the NWP30222 Certificate III in Water Industry Operations. The sessions helped learners strengthen their operational skills and understanding of key systems and standards used across the water industry.
Learners completed MSS402061 – Use SCADA Systems in Operations, developing the skills required to interact with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. SCADA technology allows operators to monitor infrastructure, track system performance and respond to operational issues in real time.
Through this unit, learners gained experience accessing and interpreting system data and using that information to support operational decision-making in line with workplace procedures.
The group also completed NWPGEN017 – Apply the Risk Management Principles of the Water Industry Standards, Guidelines and Legislation.
This training focused on applying risk management frameworks used across the water industry, including the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, which provide the foundation for managing drinking water quality across Australia. Understanding and applying these principles helps operators reduce water quality risks and support the delivery of safe drinking water to communities.
TRILITY Training Services would like to thank the learners and the Learning and Development team at Gympie Regional Council for their engagement throughout the training. For more information about the courses TRILITY Training Services can deliver, click here.
