Barwon Water Biosolids Management Project
TRILITY operates and maintains Australia’s largest thermal drying biosolids facility, servicing the Barwon Water service region. The region produces 54,000 tonnes of biosolids each year, which was previously trucked to Melbourne Water’s Western Treatment Plant where it was dried in the open air. The facility places TRILITY, Plennary Environment and Barwon Water at the forefront of responsible biosolids management in Australia.
