Yarra Park Water Recycling Facility
The Yarra Park Water Recycling Facility is operated by TRILITY under a 3-year operations and maintenance contract with the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) which is located within Yarra Park, the parkland adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). In summer mode, the plant produces 600m3 per day of Class A water for irrigation of Yarra Park. In winter mode, the plant produces 200m3 per day to supply water for toilet flushing and wash down within the MCG. Class A Water can also be supplied to Richmond Football Club for the irrigation of Punt Rd Oval during the summer period.
